Molly's Disney dream to come true... thanks to you!

A 10-year-old princess from Stalybridge is all set for a dream trip to Disneyland Paris next month thanks to the Tameside community and Quest Media Network Ltd (Tameside Reporter and Tameside Radio).

Molly May Rainbird was diagnosed with a life-limiting form of Batten’s Disease back in May, leaving her family and friends devastated.

While Molly’s loved ones were coming to terms with the shattering news, her local community soon leapt to their aid.

Molly has a lifelong love of Disney princesses and her family want to take her on a ‘bucket list’ trip to Disneyland Paris while she is still capable.

While Molly’s loved ones were coming to terms with the news, her local community soon rallied round, including her former school, St. Paul’s C of E Primary School.

Collectively, they raised around £2,500 for Molly’s family and friends to create as many memories together as possible.

This week, Quest Media donated £1,000 to Molly and her family to help fund their Disneyland trip and ensure her dream would come true. Quest Media Network Chair Chris Bird presented the from the business to Molly and her family yesterday.

Molly will be joined by seven of her closest family and friends on the four-night trip next month, where she will get the full Disney experience, including meeting her Disney princess heroes.

Now, the total raised in Molly’s name stands at over £6,000 and you can donate at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/memoriesformolly
