Hospice needs Creme Eggs ahead of Easter fundraiser

Willow Wood Hospice in Ashton.

A local hospice is appealing for donations of Cadbury's Creme Eggs ahead of the return of a popular Easter fundraiser.

Willow Wood Hospice will once again be holding its Bunny Hop in April, after last year's inaugural event proved a great success and raised over £40,000.

It sees local schools and nurseries get involved by arranging a date and time during April for a hop, skip or jump around the playground.

Before paying a visit to participants, the Ashton-based hospice is asking for help from the local community as it needs 4,000 Creme Eggs.

Donations can be dropped off at the hospice's reception on Willow Wood Close, off Mellor Road in Ashton, postcode OL6 6SL, or at any of the hospice's charity shops in Tameside or Glossop.

Anyone who would like more information, or would like to sign their school, nursery or other organisation up for the Bunny Hop, can email laura.marinelli@willowwood.info
