Elderly couple's motorhome stolen in Stalybridge

An elderly couple from Stalybridge have been left deeply upset after their motorhome was stolen overnight.

David and Joyce Hansell woke up to find the motorhome had disappeared from their drive on Arlies Lane.

The Swift Escape motorhome - registration number MF63 BKK - was stolen some time between 10.45pm on Thursday evening (July 9) and 6.30am on Friday morning (July 10).

It has a bike rack on the back and a solar panel on the roof.

David, 73, and Joyce, 69, bought it back in 2013.

Their daughter Alison said: “They are really upset that someone would take it especially as it is full of sentimental and personal items.”

The police have been informed but anyone who has any information is asked to call Alison on 07825 057143 or Joyce on 07891 082133.
