Coffee, cake and canines: Denton dogs home to host a coffee morning

Dogs Trust Manchester is inviting dog lovers to pop along to the centre to enjoy coffee and cake and meet some of the residents waiting to find their forever homes.

The Coffee Morning will take place on Sunday 14 April from 10am-1pm and as well as getting the chance to find out more about the work of the centre and the dogs being cared for, there will be the chance to grab a bargain at the doggy nearly new stall or buy some Dogs Trust goodies such as mugs, hats, doggie treat tins or umbrellas.

Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer who is organising the event, said: “We’re really looking forward to meeting local dog lovers and hope that people that know us well, along with those who perhaps haven’t visited before, take the opportunity to come along, chat to the team and of course find out more about our gorgeous dogs in need of new homes.

“There will also be rehoming parades in the indoor agility ring so that people can see some of our dogs in action, find out about the type of homes they need and maybe they will find their perfect doggie match.”

Dogs Trust Manchester is on Parkway, Denton, M34 3SG. There’s no need to book in advance for the event.
