Mossley Football Club have welcomed a new addition to the team after signing experienced Goalkeeper, Dale Latham.

After spending the last two seasons as Captain of Glossop North End, the 29-year-old joins Seel Park with a wealth of experience.

Latham has also played previously at Chadderton, Droylsden, Winsford and Atherton Collieries, being part of the squad that championed the 2018/19 Northern Premier League Division One West.

He’s made over 30 appearances at Step 2 of the non-league pyramid and is now eager to start his journey with Mossley.

Speaking on the excitement of joining the family, Dale said how he was ‘delighted to join a fantastic club like Mossley’.

“Having worked with David and Lee previously, I know what fantastic coaches they are and the exciting football their teams look to play.

“I’m no stranger to Seel Park having watched my cousin, Adam Latham, play here a few years ago. However, this time I’m looking forward to being out there, in front of the returning fans, playing my part in what is hopefully going to be a successful period of the club,” he said.

Mossley welcome Dale to the club and cannot wait to see how he plays with the squad.
