Abbie Wood earns second medal of the Games in the women's relay

Abbie Wood has earned her second medal of the Commonwealth Games after securing a bronze with Team England in the women's relay.

A strong force in the pool, Team England have taken every opportunity to show off their talent and work as a team. 

Winning a silver medal in the women's 4 x 100m freestyle event, the incredibly talented team competed yet again to achieve another glistening keepsake. 

Flying through the women's 4 x 200m freestyle relay in a time of 7:57.11, the team finished in a strong third place. 

Third to enter the pool, Abbie put in an amazing performance, pushing the squad ahead of fourth place. 

Taking bronze, Team England showed incredible ethic as they competed alongside the world record breaking Team Australia. 

Swimming events carry on this week, making for an exciting seven days of sport.
