Police release CCTV images of missing Oldham man

Police in Oldham have issued CCTV images of missing 79-year-old man Michael Holland as concerns about his safety grow.

Officers have released CCTV images of the last known movements of Michael, who was last seen on Saturday 26 March.

He was last seen on Long Lane in Chadderton at around 1pm, with images showing him walking down the street.

Michael is described as a white male, 5ft 9in tall, with grey hair and of a stocky build.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey hooded top and blue trousers, and using a wooden walking stick.

Detective Sergeant Michael Ogiliev, of GMP's Oldham district, said: "Michael went for a walk but can get confused.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is safe and well. If anyone sees Michael or knows where he is, please contact police."

Anyone with information about Michael’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 - or 999 in an emergency - quoting log 2654 of 26 March 2022.
