Double nomination success for Chadderton solicitors

Touch Solicitors have been nominated for not one but two prestigious awards in the 2019 British Wills and Probate Awards of the Solicitors for the Elderly.

Solicitors for the Elderly are a nationwide charity, putting the elderly in touch with specialist solicitors in the field.

The Chadderton-based company and its team are looking forward to the awards ceremony, which takes place in the Belfry Hotel & Resort next Thursday, October 17.

The company has been shortlisted in the Will Writing Firm of the Year (North and Midlands) and the Solicitor Firm of the Year (North).

It now faces the anxious wait to see if they have won.

Last year, the firm was shortlisted for Sole Practitioner of the Year Award for the Law Society. Growing from strength to strength, the firm is looking forward to the forthcoming year and doing more in the local community.

Trusha Velji, founder of Touch Solicitors, says: "Over 80 per cent of our work has been through word of mouth and recommendation from existing clients. Offering a personal service is important to the Firm and the way that we work.

"Each person is an individual and we like the old fashioned face-to-face personal service. Everyone knows who they are dealing with from start to finish."

The firm ensures that all team members are Dementia Champions.

Trusha says: "It means we can work more effectively with those people who have Dementia or Alzheimer’s and understand what they and their families are going through to provide an excellent service to them."
