Two men arrested over Simmondley burglary

Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a house in Glossop.

A 21-year-old from Denton and a 20-year-old from Hyde were arrested on Turnlee Drive last Wednesday (January 29). 

Police from the High Peak Crime Team came across a car they thought had been linked to a burglary at a house on Springwood in Simmondley the previous day. 

The men and the vehicle were searched and they were arrested on suspicion of burglary. Their vehicle was also seized.

They were questioned by officers and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the Springwood area between 11am and 7.45pm on Tuesday 28 January.
