Glossopdale Labour councillors to hold latest virtual surgery

This weekend sees the last Saturday of the month (27th February) and this month's Glossopdale Labour councillors' surgery.

With the national lockdown and stay at home message still in force, the surgery will once again be hosted virtually via Zoom.

It will run from 10.30am until 11.30am. Anyone can access it via this link: http://bit.ly/GlossopdaleLabourCllrs.

The virtual surgery will feature the following councillors:

·       Anthony Mckeown (who represents Gamesley Ward)

·       Damien Greenhalgh and Rachel Abbotts (who represent Howard Town Ward)

·       Ollie Cross (who represents Padfield Ward)

·       Graham Oakley (who represents Whitfield Ward)

·       Stewart Gardner (who represents Simmondley Ward),

·       County Councillor Becki Woods who represents Etherow Division (Gamesley, Hadfield and Tintwistle)

Cllr Damien Greenhalgh said: "With the Stay at Home still very much the message to Glossopdale, this month’s surgery will be provided virtually once more.  Although we’ve been busy with enquiries from constituents using Facebook, email and phone calls, we know a number of constituents prefer to meet face to face.

"So, if anyone would like some advice, support or you just fancy a natter pop into our Councillor's Zoom Surgery and say hello via this link http://bit.ly/GlossopdaleLabourCllrs."

Anyone who can't attend Saturday's virtual surgery is reminded that they can find more ways to get in touch with the councillors via Facebook.

Alternatively, for all other borough councillors, you can get the details on the borough council’s website at http://www.highpeak.gov.uk/, and for County Councillors at http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk.

Anyone unsure about whether their issue or concern is something their local councillors can help with are encouraged to join the virtual surgery and ask.
