The 11th annual Glossop North End Beer Festival is just around the corner, promising an exciting lineup of drinks, food, and entertainment for all ages.
Both the Outside and Clubhouse bars will be in full swing, offering a wide selection of drinks to quench your thirst.
The Outside Bar will feature a choice of 20 real ales, alongside the popular Gin and Prosecco bar.
Tokens will be used at the Outside Bar, with eight tokens available for £18. Each token grants you various options, including half or full pints of real ale, Gin & mixer, Prosecco, or even a burger.
Meanwhile, the Clubhouse Bar will cater to all preferences, accepting cash or card payments for an extensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Friday night kicks off with live music from Steve Kenny starting at 8 pm in the Clubhouse, alongside rounds of bingo. Pie, peas, and hot dogs will also be available for purchase.
Saturday afternoon focuses on family fun with activities such as Play Your Cards Right, a football tournament, karaoke and a lively Dog Show hosted by Contented Canines from 1pm to 3pm. Children can enjoy glitter tattoos and face painting, and a variety of food options including burgers, jacket potatoes, and hot dogs.
As the sun sets on Saturday, the Clubhouse transforms into a party venue with live music by Joe Birtles from 8pm onwards. Once again, bingo adds to the fun, and delicious pizzas from Pizza’ere Romiley will be available starting at 5 pm.
The success of the festival relies on the dedication of volunteers, and there's still an opportunity to get involved, with setup and preparation on Saturday, May 18, and Wednesday, May 22, as well as for the clear down on Sunday, May 26.
