Glossopdale Foodbank is appealing for the public's support to donate items which it is currently running low on.
Glossop's main foodbank is short of rice pudding, custard, sugar (500g or 1kg bags), UHT Milk, tinned sweetcorn, tea bags (boxes of 40 or 80), cold tinned meat (e.g. corned beef), toilet paper and sanitary items.
Food can be donated in donation baskets at Glossop Tesco’s, Marks and Spencer’s, Glossop Leisure Centre, Glossop Wholefoods, Bradbury House, Hadfield Library, Gamesley Early Excellence Centre and the Co-op in Simmondley.
Anyone who would like to donate cash rather than food can do so via the foodbank's Localgiving page at https://localgiving.org/
If you’d like to volunteer and help in any way, get in touch with Glossopdale Foodbank coordinator Charlotte Mendes Kelly by calling 07811 684282.
