Chance for Buxton residents to raise concerns with police

Buxton residents will get the chance to raise any concerns with Derbyshire Police at a community policing forum.

Organised by High Peak MP Robert Largan, the online forum - open to all Buxton residents - will be held at 7pm on Thursday 27 January 2022.

The MP said: “Buxton is a great place to live and work. It’s a fantastic town with a great community spirit, and people are rightly proud to call it home.

“However, there have of late been several incidents in the town, which is concerning for residents and workers alike.

“I’m hugely grateful to Derbyshire Constabulary for agreeing once again to take part in my Community Policing Forum, and for all the hard work they do to keep us safe, especially during these unusually challenging times.”

The number of participants is limited to 300, and residents must register to attend online at robertlargan.co.uk/buxtonforum

During online registration, residents can also submit a question that they’d like to ask the police representatives.
