Manor Park Bowling Club in Glossop is holding a New Season Opening Day on Saturday (26 March), starting at 11am.
At the event, they are holding a bowling competition for all bowlers to enter and a fundraiser for Ukraine.
The New Season Opening Day is a fundraising event for the Ukrainian Humanitarian Relief Appeal.
The club is intending to donate all money raised to the appeal. They are planning to decorate the club house in blue and yellow to show support for the people of the Ukraine. The club has come together after seeing the terrible suffering of the Ukrainian people.
The new bowls season is starting soon and Manor Park Bowls Club is a community club looking for new members.
They can provide training and equipment to new members.
This year the club is offering free membership to all new members.
