The body of a missing man has been found in a popular walking spot in Glossop.
Glossop Mountain Rescue Team said they were called by Derbyshire Police to help search the Shire Hill area on Thursday evening (21 April) for a missing person, with a body found shortly afterwards.
A Glossop MRT spokesperson said: "The team was asked to assist Derbyshire Police in a search of the Shire Hill area of Glossop for missing person.
"Tragically, the body of a male was found shortly after the search commenced.
"All members of Glossop Mountain Rescue Team would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends at this difficult time."
