25th Hour

Band of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature are 25th Hour. The band are an alternative rock band who blend powerful female vocals with infectious melodies and heavy guitars and have formed their own unique sound.

They have gained a good following and have become known for high energy live shows and a perfect rock n roll attitude. Influenced by the likes of Paramore, Cage The Elephant and The Snuts, the four-piece band have already played at many sold out gigs and venues, including at many of Manchester's iconic venues such as Night & Day, Castle Hotel, Deaf Institute, and Off The Square. Six singles have been released so far since their debut single 'Falling Out' was released in 2019, which was followed by 'Figure It Out', 'XXV', Breakthrough', 'Start Again', and 'Off It', with a new single entitled 'Inside' being released tomorrow (April 26th).

25th Hour will be supporting popular The Smiths tribute 'These Smiths' at St James Hall in Heywood on Bank Holiday Sunday May 5th, where Tameside Radio's Dave Sweetmore will also be doing a DJ set, tickets for this event are available on Skiddle, and then the band will also be playing live at Whittles Live Music Venue in Oldham on Friday 17th May as part of our next Local Music Spotlight Live night, alongside Ruff Trade, Stepford Wives, Cobain Jones, Ambiere, Craig Lee & The Humblebees, Not Ned, and North Blood, tickets for this event are available at Tamesideradio.com.

You can find all of the band's music on Spotify and all good music streaming sites. 25th Hour will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio between 6am and 7pm all of next week. They also joined the team on The Dave Sweetmore Show last Monday night, you can listen again via the OnDemand section of the website.
