High Peak Baby Bank receives £20,000 from National Lottery Community Fund

High Peak Baby Bank have been granted £20,000 of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

High Peak Baby Bank is a charity providing essential items for families with babies and toddlers across High Peak, Derbyshire and the Staffordshire Moorlands.

The £20,000 of funding will help staff at the baby bank continue to deliver a variety of services, including giving free essentials to families in need, baby and toddler groups, community events and much more. The aim is to not only support parents who are struggling financially, but also to reduce isolation among families.

Commenting, Robert Largan, MP for High Peak, said: “I am pleased to see High Peak Baby Bank continuing to expand on its good work, helping a lot of families in our area.

“We’re so lucky in the High Peak to have so many amazing community support organisations and wonderful volunteers who go above and beyond helping each other out."
