Residents of one street in Simmondley are going all out to get into the VE Day spirit.
People living on Arundel Grange have got all dressed up in the traditional red, white and blue colours to mark the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.
They will be treated to a performance from professional entertainer Samantha Jones, who lives on the street, whilst having a good time and, crucially, distancing themselves as per the Government restrictions.
Samantha will also be going live on Facebook from 4pm to care homes across the UK in a bid to cheer up residents on this historic day.
As these images sent to us by Poppy Mitchell show, the street has also been decorated in bunting matching the colours of the Union Jack flag.
