We had a ball!

A charity ball held at Dukinfield’s Masonic Hall has raised more than £1,000 for The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

The ball was thrown to raise vital funds for the hospital with tickets selling for £5 and more than 100 people attending.

Throughout the course of the night, tombolas, raffles and auctions took place with prizes donated by the public.

All money raised on the night will go towards the grand total which has yet to  be revealed.

Angela Kuruaz, whose son is looked after at the hospital and who works closely with the charity, stated: “With over £1,000 raised and money still to be counted from collection buckets, the night was successful and enjoyable for all who attended or donated.”
