Vote for your Amazing Ashton Awards shortlist

It's now time for people to vote for the finalists for this year's Amazing Ashton Awards.

The Tameside public has been nominating their unsung heroes over the summer and now it's time to come up with a shortlist. 

The three nominees with the most votes from each category will make it to the finals and winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. 

It's the second year of the awards, which are ran by the Ladysmith Shopping Centre. 

Three new categories have been announced this year - the Covid-19 Hero Award, the Great Leader Award and an internal award for Ladysmith Retailer of the Year.

Voting will close at 5pm on Friday 6 November. 

Due to current circumstances, and in line with the government guidelines, Ladysmith Shopping Centre say it has taken the difficult decision to announce the winners online - rather than host an award ceremony this year.
