Step up to The Big Walk for Denton defibrillators

The Big Walk is an initiative to maintain defibrillators for Denton South.

This Sunday (December 19), you can pay £5 to take part in either the 10-mile walk or the 5-mile walk. The registration fee also gets you free refreshment and a medal on completion.

More experienced hikers can meet at Haughton Green Village Green at 12.30pm and take the 10-mile trip through the Tame Valley and up to Werneth Low.

Walkers more comfortable completing 5-miles can join the group at Mill Lane, before everyone travels through Reddish Vale Country Park and back to Haughton Green Village.

Denton South has two publicly available defibrillators, but they require regular maintenance and investment. The money raised by The Big Walk will be put toward their upkeep and training to use them.

To register for the walk go to www.TeamDentonSouth.co.uk/BigWalk
