Princesses and pirates to bring Disney magic to Mossley

Mossley Community Centre is hosting a day of music and magic for children where they can sing-along and dance to Disney hits with their favourite characters.

There are two hour-long events to choose from on Saturday July 31, featuring princesses Rapunzel and Ariel alongside a pair of pirates.

Parents accompanying their children will receive complimentary cake and a drink, though refreshments are onsite for purchase.

Covid government guidelines are going to be followed in the building and masks encouraged in the audience.

Gillian Saldanha de Magalhaes, spokesperson for the event, added: “We’re really excited to be doing the live show. Throughout lockdown the princesses have had to adapt and only perform on doorsteps or outdoors, even doing Zoom calls.

“Now, they’re going to be able to take to the stage again, and they’ll be joined by pirates which were introduced to the performance in July. They received such a good reaction that we decided to keep them.”

The company, Once Upon a Princess, has 10 princesses in total that sing and dance for parties or events.

They’ll feature at the Princess Summer Ball in Old Chapel Theatre, Dukinfield on August 30.
