Police seek escaped convict with local links

Police are trying to find a convict with links to Tameside and Glossop who has absconded from HMP Sudbury.

Jack Douglas Lloyd (pictured) left the open prison on Friday 29 November.

The 34-year-old was convicted at Manchester Crown Court in 2016, to serve nine years for a number of robberies and possessing an imitation firearm.

He is white, slim, 5ft 10ins tall and has brown eyes.

His home address is in Hyde, but he has connections to Ashton-under-Lyne, Glossop and Manchester.

Anyone who sees Lloyd or knows of his whereabouts is asked not to approach him but to contact Derbyshire Constabulary using the following methods, quoting reference 19000640491.
