Pitch ideas to Dragons

Hyde Rotary has more than £2,000 to give away to charities and good causes in its Dragons Den contest.

Taking the format from the TV programme of the same name, the Rotary Club is asking for anyone connected to a charity or worthy cause who would like to appear in front of the Rotary Dragons to pitch for funds.

Applications are invited from postcode area SK14 only.

Following next month’s closing date there will be a selection process and  six successful applications will be invited to give a short presentation to the Dragons on Thursday, April 23, at the Oakland’s Hall Beech View, Hyde.

To be successful, organisations will have to demonstrate the impact of their work in the community, good governance and a passion for their cause.

Awards will range from £250 up to £750 for the group the dragons select as the overall winner.

Application forms and rules can be obtained by emailing maddoxkevin@outlook.com

Applications must be received by Friday, March 20 at the latest.
