Our own Quest-ion Time

Quest Media Network, the company behind the Tameside Reporter, Glossop Chronicle, Oldham Reporter and Tameside Radio, is delighted to announce the upcoming 'Quest-ion Time.'

The events will give you the opportunity to quiz the candidates standing in your area ahead of the general election on Thursday, December 12.

Chris Bird, Executive Chairman of Quest Media Network, said: "To our readers and our listeners, the paper and the radio are your voice and your platform to help you decide who gets Your Vote.

"Since I got involved with Quest Media Network the main objective has always been to give our readers, our listeners and the people that visit our website, a real voice and to ensure that all of our politicians understand what the great people of Tameside and Glossop are really thinking, what they’re worried about and what they really need.

"It is our job as the local media to ensure that we give people across all of our communities a voice."

There will be an event for four of our parliamentary constituencies: Ashton; Denton and Reddish; Stalybridge and Hyde; and High Peak.

All of our events will follow the electoral procedure and all of the candidates standing have been invited to attend.

These are the confirmed dates for the events:

Wednesday 27 November - Denton and Reddish (in the Lecture Theatre at Ashton Sixth Form College)
Thursday 28 November - High Peak (at The Place, Glossopdale School, Hadfield)
Wednesday 4 December - Stalybridge and Hyde (in the Lecture Theatre at Ashton Sixth Form College)
Thursday 5 December - Ashton-under-Lyne (in the Lecture Theatre at Ashton Sixth Form College)

All of the events will start at 7pm (arrival from 6.30pm) and will last around an hour, with refreshments to follow.

If you would like to attend any of the events, fill out our form at https://www.questmedianetwork.co.uk/question-time/

Please note: Tickets for these events unfortunately are very limited so not everyone's application to attend will be successful. If you're successful, we will contact you in due course.
