Nostalgia: Shiver me timbers at Audenshaw High School

Audenshaw High School pupils made plain sailing with their lively production of The Pirates of Penzance back in 1991.

Mark Kershaw played the dashing Frederic, mistakenly apprenticed to a pirate instead of a ship’s pilot.

Jonathan Clay seemed to love every minute he was on stage ‘his facial expressions of the mean and moody piratical nurse maid were a joy to watch.’

Chesney Talbot dithered delightfully as the absent minded Major General Stanley.

Mark Grimley played the fearsome, fiery Major General. Michael Pollitt also impressed as the sergeant leading a madcap police patrol.
