New store opens in Denton

A new Starbucks store has opened its doors in Denton, giving a boost for the local economy.

Operated by 23.5 Degrees, the store at Crownpoint North Retail Park will create 20 new jobs.

It opened for the first time on Friday 5 March.

The store will be open seven days a week - 6am to 9pm Monday to Sunday.

To celebrate the opening, the American coffee house company offered complimentary reusable cups to the first 100 customers to visit the store.

Denton MP Andrew Gwynne (pictured below) was among the first people to call in.

Gemma Barrett, new store manager at 23.5 Degrees, said: “We are excited to open our first store in Denton and becoming a part of the local community. The team are closely following the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

In accordance with the latest government guidance, the store is 'to-go' only. While seating is not available for use inside the store, customers can still order for takeaway. Mobile Order & Pay and delivery via Uber Eats will also be fully available to all customers.
