Music festival is heading to Dukinfield

The 'Made in Manchester' music festival will return to Tameside this year with a new venue, and organisers are claiming it will be bigger and better than ever!

Last year’s event, headlined by top tribute bands ‘The Oasis Experience’ and ‘These Smiths’, was held at St. Paul’s Cricket Club in Stalybridge.

The festival raised funds for grassroots sport at the cricket club and Reuben’s Retreat. It was shortlisted for ‘Best Small Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards 2019.

Manchester’s best tribute acts, local bands and DJs are returning again in 2020, with this year’s event being held on the Yew Tree Lane Football Pitches in Dukinfield, locally known as the Blocksages.

The festival will support grassroots sport at Dukinfield Town & Youth FC.

As well as a stellar line-up, to be announced soon, there will be outdoor festival bars, a gin bar, foodie village, festival hair and glitter, rides, activities and entertainment for all ages.

And once again, the event will be hosted by DJ Dave Sweetmore, who’ll be spinning Manchester classics, indie anthems and dance floor fillers.

Made in Manchester 2020 will take place on Saturday, May 23, from 12.45pm until 10.30pm.

A limited number of early bird tickets are on sale now for a discounted price of £17.50 for adults and £10 for children (16 and under). Kids under five go free.

You can also buy an early bird adult VIP ticket for £40.

Tickets must be bought in advance.
