Man's body found in farmland in Denton

Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been discovered in an area of farmland in Denton. 

The body of a 36-year-old was found on Friday afternoon (23 July) at Town Lane. 

Greater Manchester Police say the man's death is not being treated as suspicious. 

A large police cordon was in place for several hours near Hyde Hall Farm, close to Reddish Vale Country Park. 

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were just after 5pm on Friday 23 July to Town Lane in Denton, following the discovery of a body.

"Emergency services attended, and sadly the body of a 36-year-old man was found deceased.

"His death isn't being treated as suspicious, and enquiries are ongoing."
