A 57-year-old man has been sentenced to 28 weeks in prison after harassing and assaulting NHS staff, as well as exposing himself to them, in Tameside.
Ronald Howard was wanted for a number of offences against NHS workers in the borough and arrested by Greater Manchester Police on Friday (April 24).
Howard, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of common assault, one count of exposure and one count of harassment.
He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (April 25), where he was sentenced to 28 weeks in prison.
GMP Tameside North's neighbourhood officers also served a Criminal Behaviour Order at Howard's appearance in court, which he will be subject to for two years following his release.
