'Made in Manchester' family music festival returns to Tameside

It's back! The Made in Manchester family music festival returns to Tameside on Saturday 28 May.

Following its popularity and success in 2019, and after a two-year postponement due to Covid, it promises to be a day and night to remember!

Held at Astley Sports Village in Dukinfield, there’s an impressive line-up of bands showcasing the very best of the iconic Manchester music scene, with a mix of top-class tribute acts, and local home-grown talented musicians making their mark, there really is something for everyone.

Hosted by the inimitable DJ Dave Sweetmore; the biggest supporter and promoter of local talent as showcased on his weekly radio show on Tameside Radio 103.6fm, who will be playing Manchester classics, indie anthems, and dance-floor fillers.

It promises to be an exciting and uplifting event for the whole community.

There will be an amazing family-friendly festival atmosphere, with children’s entertainers and face painters, festival stalls and an array of food and drink on offer to keep you going throughout the day.

Bringing a welcome boost to the local community, the festival is supporting Dukinfield Town & Youth FC, and Fundraising for Florence.
