James to head up Tameside United Ladies

Hyde United have confirmed that James Caldwell will be returning to Tameside United Ladies (Hyde United’s women’s side) to head up a four person coaching team ahead of the 2019/20 season.

James comes to Hyde United from Manchester Stingers WFC who currently compete in the North West Premier League, two divisions above Tameside United.

Lee Prince, David Taggart and Kieran Reynolds have all been retained for the upcoming season to help boast one of the most experienced backroom teams in the region.

The Reporter spoke to James following the Under 18s County Cup success in May.

“I’m happy to be back at the Ladies side for this season, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Manchester Stingers and wish them all the best for the future. Our aim now as a coaching team is to help these players move up the divisions and look to gain promotion into the North West League. I’ll be looking at adding a few experienced heads as well as bringing through some of the best players from our Youth Sides as well.”

Tameside United will return to pre season training at the same time as the men’s side as both teams look to prepare for the season ahead.
