Hyde charity needs your help

The Grafton Centre in Hyde is appealing for donations that can be used as prizes for raffles.

A spokesperson for the centre said: "This is an ongoing appeal, as we hold raffles continuously throughout the year to raise much-needed funds to help keep the centre running, so that we offer our members the best range of activities available in our local area.

"Many of you may not know that the Grafton Centre is a registered charity and we are a not-for-profit organisation. Any surplus funds we raise goes back into improving the centre for those that use it."

Anyone who has any suitable items can drop them off at the centre on Grafton Street any time between 9.30am and 3pm Monday to Friday.

Anyone living in Tameside who is unable to get to the centre can call 0161 368 4110 to arrange collection.
