Howl's that! Rewarding a special fundraising effort

Dog lover Owen Morgan was given a VIP tour of Dogs Trust Manchester in Denton, as a special thank you for raising £2,700 for the charity.

Fifteen-year-old Owen, from Urmston, raised the money by holding collections at his school and local church and recycling ink cartridges.

Owen and his mum Anna were treated to a special meet and greet with one of the doggie residents looking for a home - Simba - a nine-year-old Northern Inuit.

Owen said: “I love dogs and it’s sad so many dogs don’t have a home so I wanted to do something to help them.”
