Help support Guide Bridge Theatre whilst doing your Christmas shopping

Guide Bridge Theatre is selling Christmas gifts to raise crucial funds and stave off the threat of permanent closure.

Last year, the Audenshaw-based theatre fundraised with a number of Christmas fairs.

This year, in the midst of the pandemic, proceeds are far more important, but restrictions remain on gatherings and performances.

Only able to stage one play in 2020, ‘Ladies Down Under’, the theatre is encouraging people to donate in a different way.

They’ve created an online catalogue of exciting gifts for lovers of Marvel, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who and many more brands.

With all products officially licensed and gifted to the theatre by a local business, they are being sold at heavily reduced prices.

Guide Bridge Theatre is also part of a national initiative launched by Theatres Trust to keep theatres up and running into 2021 through dedicated donation pages. This has allowed Guide Bridge Theatre to hold their annual bucket shake online.

Home to six plays and a pantomime each year, the theatre also hosts community groups, benefiting over 5,000 people before lockdown. Volunteer-run, there are 100 people, aged from 10 to 92, that help run Guide Bridge Theatre.
