Fun of the fete is coming to Gee Cross

Hyde Rotary and Blood Bikes Manchester have teamed up to provide a fun-packed Gee Cross Fete.

The traditional village fete will be taking place on Sam Redfern Green Fields in Gee Cross on Sunday 3 July.

There will be entertainment in the Big Top tent and the main arena with Luke Crabtree, Bombomb Fitness, Manchester Morris Men, Stockport Silver Band and Gibson Dance. DJ Andy Stott will ensure the atmosphere never flags.

During the day, there will be a visit from the Mayor of Tameside and our local Tameside Radio will be broadcasting throughout the day. Scruffs Dog Show is back by popular demand.

Look out for the other attractions - there will be a bouncy castle, crafts, tombolas and games for children, in association with Alder Roots from the local secondary school.

Gates open at 11am with a traditional service at 11-11.30am.

The entrance fee is £4, children who are accompanied by adult are free.

All proceeds from the major fundraisers will be divided between Hyde Rotary and Manchester Blood Bikes.
