Free tours for dog lovers at Denton-based rehoming centre

Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Manchester, is offering tours and talks. She is pictured with six-year-old Crossbreed Sharon.

Dogs Trust Manchester is offering dog-lovers the chance to find out just what it takes to look after hundreds of dogs in need of new homes.

The team at the Denton-based rehoming centre are offering free tours to community groups or the opportunity for groups to have a team member chat to them about all things canine at their own venue.

Dogs Trust Manchester Supporter Relations Officer (SRO), Nicola Hardman, says: “It’s great to be back out meeting local dog lovers and welcoming them back to our fantastic rehoming centre too.

“We look after around 70 dogs at any one time and giving groups a tour of the rehoming centre provides a fantastic insight into what it takes to look after so many dogs, and how the team find them their forever homes and new loving families. Plus, for groups that choose to come to Dogs Trust Manchester, there’s always the bonus of meeting some of our current residents and finding a perfect canine companion of their own.”
