Denton West End Community Library has had to cancel their Christmas Artisan Market.
A spokesperson from the library said: “We are sorry to announce that the planned Christmas Artisan Market is cancelled. We have taken advice and guidance from the council.
“We are sorry we are unable to hold this community event and this was one of our big fundraising events.
“We are looking at still bringing you lots of Christmas fun, including Christmas activity packs, virtual Christmas lights switch-on and hopefully a visit from Santa! We are working on the details with the elves!”
If anyone requested a stall, organisers of the market will be in touch once they are able to hold a market - they are looking at either January or in February.
