Boy, 6, injured after brick thrown through window

A six-year-old boy was injured after a brick was thrown through a window at a house in Dukinfield while he was asleep in the middle of the night.

It happened at around 3am on Tuesday morning (March 24) at an address on Freeman Road. 

As a result of this act of criminal damage, the glass from the window shattered all over the young boy, who was sleeping in the room. 

The images shared by Greater Manchester Police's Tameside North team, with the permission of the boy's family, show his injuries. 

Police are appealing for anyone who has any information relating to the offenders or who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
