Ashton-based estate agent strikes gold for the second year running

An Ashton letting agency was awarded gold for the second year running in the prestigious British Property Awards.

Alex Jones Estate Agents have been named the gold winners in The British Property Awards 2021 for Ashton-under-Lyne after also receiving the gold award in 2020.

Teams of agents undergo extensive judging focused on the customer service they provide, only those that go to the extra mile are shortlisted for the awards.

The Awards pride themselves on being inclusive and don’t charge an entry fee, enabling more agencies to take part. They were created in 2016 by a dedicated team of ex-Estate Agency owners who believed the industry was unfairly judged by some consumers.

Independent judges assess every agent on 25 customer service-based criteria over a period of months. The speed of response from an agent, their grammar and how they answer the phone are all taken into account.

Robert McLean from The British Property Awards added: “Our awards have been designed to remove any opportunity for bias or manipulation.

“If an agent has been attributed with one of our awards, it is simply down to the fantastic customer service levels that they have demonstrated across a prolonged period of time.

“Winning agents should be proud that their customer services levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition”

Alex Jones Estate Agents continues to provide the best in service and has now been shortlisted for a number of national awards which will be announced later in the year.
