WATCH: Villa Park or Wembley Stadium? Pupils Face Anxious Wait Ahead Of National Football Finals

Year five and six pupils at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Primary School are preparing to grace the hallowed turf of a high profile football stadium.

The school, based in Ashton, has qualified for the National Football FInals after winning the U11s Small School Northern Regional Finals in Newcastle.

The school now faces an anxious wait to find out which stadium they'll be playing at, although there have been rumours that it could be Villa Park or Wembley Stadium.

Ahead of the event, pupils were striding out at the Park Run event, coordinated by the Tameside School Sports Partnership, at King George Playing Fields in Ashton.

We spoke to PE Lead Josh Watson about the football success and the importance of physical activity within the school's ethos and principles.
