WATCH: Eve hits the target with fundraising effort

Pupils in Tameside have been taking part in day two of the Tour of Tameside relay.

As we reported on earlier this morning, 47 schools have signed up to the event, coordinated and supported by The Running Bee Foundation, Tameside Council, The Believe and Achieve Trust, and the Tameside School Sports Partnership.

We visited Arlies Primary School in Stalybridge, who received the baton from Silversprings Academy. The baton was then taken to Stalyhill School.

We spoke to Stalyhill's Eve Warburton, a Manchester United U10 player, who had been chosen as the torch bearer. Earlier this year, Eve completed a 100km to raise funds for the Alzheimers Society in memory of her grandad. This is what Eve told us.
