WATCH: Droylsden Boxing Club launches Christmas Toy Appeal

In 63 days’ time families and friends will gather to celebrate Christmas Day. But for many people the associated costs of the festive season can cause something of a problem.

The Covid-19 pandemic has put further strain on families across the borough, and with this in mind Droylsden Amateur Boxing Club has been spurred into action.

Long-standing coach, Ian Harrison, has decided to launch a food and toy appeal to ease the pressure on struggling families in the area.

The club launched the appeal on the 11th October and there has already been a great response. Ian has been delighted with the donations and now hopes the community can rally around and make Christmas Day that bit more special for those in need.
