Striding Out In Memory Of Grandad

A Glossopdale School teacher and his two sons are striding out to raise vital funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Mark Bousie, who teaches music at Glossopdale School, has been taking part in a 3km run everday since January 11, alongside his sons Charlie and Harry, to raise funds for the charity following the sudden and tragic death of their grandad, Mike Sadler, at the age of 63 on November 27.

The boys’ runs, which have taken place around Audenshaw, Tameside, will continue everyday until Wednesday, February 10.

Charlie and Harry even braved Storm Christoph on Wednesday morning to ensure they maintained their incredible feat.

The trio initially set a target of £50 but have already smashed that with the current figure at a staggering £ 1,261.
