Right Said Fred: Talking Betting With Betfred Boss Fred Done

The odds indicate nothing much will change this weekend at the top of the Premier League - and I repeat I'm not at all regretting paying out before Christmas on City retaining the title.

Liverpool are entertaining lowly Watford on Saturday while City are at another club battling to avoid the relegation trap door Burnley.

Both the top two are odds on to pick up three points before the eagerly awaited Etihad clash between them that many say will settle the title.

The bottom line is City are the better team with a much deeper squad of superstar experienced players.

I'M chuffed to bits that a retired businessman from Bolton has won £150,000 at Betfred after his ‘secret formula’ came up trumps on the 49s numbers game.

The pensioner bet £15 that numbers 6, 14, 30 and 43 would come up – and they did, winning him the jackpot.

His formula is that when a number comes out, he drops it from the four on his coupon and selects another – and that paid off handsomely for the Betfred regular who visits shops throughout Bolton and surrounding areas.

And we've had another great winner with greengrocer David Thorneywork who clearly knows his onions – but his football knowledge has also proved second to none after winning £99,138.52.

The 68-year-old landed an extraordinary 10-fold accumulator last Saturday, picking ten home teams across three divisions.
