Mossley announce new Women's team manager

Mossley AFC have confirmed Dame Blackshaw as the new Women's team manager.

Dame’s appointment follows the resignation of Chris Brooks last week.

A statement on the club's website read:

Stalybridge-based Dame started his coaching career at Dukinfield youth before moving to Curzon Ashton Ladies. He then moved to Seel Park as Assistant Manager for the formation of our Women’s team. Following his promotion to Women’s team manager, he has appointed Dave Dickin as his Assistant Manager and Adam Macdonald as coach.

On being appointed as new manager of our Women’s team, Dame told the club's website: “It’s an absolute honour for me to be the manager of such a talented group of ladies. Our short-term aim is to continue our good cup run and to gain promotion this season. With Dave and Adam, I have two excellent coaches and we will do everything we can to give the town a women’s team that they can be proud of.”
