Following a prolonged absence due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Pride of Tameside Sports Awards will make its long awaited return on Friday 30 September 2022 at Dukinfield Town Hall.
The showpiece event celebrates the sporting achievements of clubs, individuals and volunteers in the borough.
We spoke to Active Tameside's Andy Dwyer to get the latest information on the event. Nominations open on Monday, April 4.
Andy, who heads up the Tameside Sport and Physical Activity Network, also reflected on the past year and told us how more than 100 clubs affiliated to the Network have benefited.
