Following the victory, Charlie thanked his followers and uploaded the following statement: “I am now the English Super Middleweight Champion.

“A huge thank you to everyone around me, the list is endless. But mainly Rob Rimmer and Bobby Gervis my two coaches and my manager Kevin Maree for all of their hard work and dedication.

“A huge shout-out to SlimBox- FitCatering for helping me make 168Ib at ease. And a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who was supporting me.

“I am looking forward to working with Dennis Hobson Promotions and Fightzone TV as we work even harder towards bigger titles.”
