Brad wants to be king of the ring

Professional boxer Brad Rea is relishing the opportunity to prove his worth at one of the biggest venues in the UK.

In what will be the biggest fight of his short but successful career, the 22-year-old, who trains at Hatton's Gym in Hyde, will be fighting on the undercard of Scott Quigg v Jono Carroll at the Manchester Arena on March 7th.

The middleweight is looking to extend his unbeaten run to nine victories and, in the process, further boost his profile as an up and coming talent.

We caught up with Brad and Commonwealth Champion Stacey Copeland at a training session in January. Here's what Brad had to say about his training following a Christmas break and his thoughts on his upcoming bout.
