Back in the swim

Glossop Amateur Swimming Club couldn’t wait to be back at Glossop Pool yesterday (Wednesday).   

Under the new Tier 3 restrictions, swimming pools can reopen and that means a welcome return to the water for members, one of the few grassroots sports able to return.   

During a brief, but very successful, October opening, members were reassured that their safety was paramount, thanks to vigilant volunteers and easy to follow Covid rules.

If you are interested in joining the club you can go along at one of the Wednesday open nights.

Sessions are available for children from stage six and above to age 18. There are also opportunities for masters aged 18 plus.
